The Politically Incorrect Film Festival (PI-FF) was established in 2004 by the non-profit Association for Transformation of Social Communication (PIFF). It presents films (documentaries, features films etc) about real events in a political-social environment, in order actively to construct an area of communication where social, political, humanitarian and artistic spheres are able to connect. The festival's aim is to make people aware what is going on in their surroundings, to encourage people to help and support others, to discover new films and film-makers and to transform spaces which were not meant to be used as screening venues into places for the presentation of film art and discussion.

Films in which content is emphasised and which represent open-mindedness of film expression are considered for screening, including short and feature, animated, documentary, fiction and experimental films shot on film or video and preferably available in DVD, Beta or VHS formats, including those originally produced on 8mm, 16mm or 35mm. There is no entry fee. Selection takes place through consent of the selection committee and is based on technical and narrative qualities.

The festival is based in Ljubljana and takes place at Kinodvor Cinema, in the ZRC SAZU Hall, at Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Zone, and at Tovarna Rog. The 4th festival of 2006 was also presented in Maribor in collaboration with Pekarna Magdalena Network.
