The [[Šeligo Award]] is delivered annually for the best performance of a Slovene play at the [[Slovene Drama Week|Week of Slovenian Drama]], organised by the [[Prešeren Theatre Kranj]]. Originally introduced in 2000 as the Grand Prix, the award was renamed in 2004 in honour of the Slovene dramatist [[Rudi Šeligo]] (1935&ndash;2004).

A jury of theatre experts selects the best performance from the festival's programme which is chosen by the annual selector of the [[Slovene Drama Week|Week of Slovenian Drama]]. Generally, 5 to 7 performances compete for the prize.
