[[Almira Sadar]] (b 1963) graduated in architecture and then specialised in industrial design at the [[Academy of Fine Arts and Design]] in Ljubljana. Since 1997 she has been a Senior Lecturer at [[Department of Textiles, University of Ljubljana]]. In recent years she has exhibited in Slovenia ([[Biennial of Industrial Design (BIO)]], [[Biennial of Graphic Arts]]) and in Denmark, Chile and Austria, and has collaborated on several projects with [[Marija Jenko Starič]]. Twice each year since 1998 she has created her own collection for the [[AlmiraSadar]] label. In 2003 she opened a showroom for her own exclusive women's wear and accessories in the centre of Ljubljana.
