The [[Annales Publishing House|Annales University Press]] of the [[Science and Research Centre of Koper (SRC Koper)]] at [[University of Primorska]], established in [[established::1991]], mediates achievements in scientific research to the wider public and is therefore indispensable at any level of scientific and research activity. It publishes the research periodicals ''[[Annales Journal]]'', ''[[Acta Histriae]]'' and ''Monitor ZSA'', as well as various book collections (Library Annales, Library Annales Majora, Annales Mediterranea, Annales Cinesiologiae). In 2005 the [[Slovene Science Foundation]] bestowed the publishing house the recognition ''Prometej znanosti'' for excellence in communicating science.

Although founded by the [[Historical Society of Southern Primorska, Koper]], Annales Publishing House became an infrastructural unit of the [[Science and Research Centre of Koper (SRC Koper)]] when the latter began to operate in 1996.

Annales Publishing House continues to cooperate with the [[Historical Society of Southern Primorska, Koper]] and also cooperates with numerous journals and institutions which foster international exchange. Its publications are in Slovenian, Croatian, Italian, English, Spanish, and German, and most are complemented with a summary and an abstract in English, Italian, German and sometimes other relevant languages. Annales publications are listed in the specialised international databases (citation indices); the ''[[Annales Journal]]'' is especially quoted high.
