Established in [[established::1992]], [[Artes Gallery]] is a private gallery formerly located in Nova Gorica, close to the Italian border. In 2019 the gallery moved to a new venue in the village of Pedrovo. The new venue includes a gallery, accommodation and selling of artworks.

Since its establishment it has organised more than 150 exhibitions, mostly solo exhibitions by well-known international and Slovene visual artists (e.g., [[Lojze Spacal]], [[BridA]]), and some of them in cooperation with other cultural institutions (e.g., [[Nova Gorica City Gallery]], Gorica Cultural Centre in Italy, and various other Slovene and foreign galleries). In the past the gallery co-organised an annual meeting of visual artists in Medana ([[MMM Art - Medana International Fine Arts Workshop]]) whilst also hosting international participants, visual projects, book presentations and auctions.
