The konS – Platform for Contemporary Investigative Art was established in 2019 as a consortium of nine partners that are active in the field of contemporary investigative art.

Aiming to better the conditions for the development of contemporary investigative art in Slovenia, its goal is to enable the production of high-end contemporary investigative art and the translation of visionary art ideas and inventions into economy and forward-thinking society. It wants to establish systemic connections between artists, inventors and engineers and aims to build information and education systems that will empower the society for critical and creative uses of new technologies.

The project was chosen through the public call for the selection of the operations called “Network of Investigative Art and Culture Centres”. It is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
