Dežurni krivci is a progressive rock band from Prlekija in Eastern Slovenia. Formed in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Leon Štrakl, guitarist Marko Čuš, bassist Tomas Tibaut, and drummer Igor Ketiš, the band gained momentum with their 2000 performance at Novi rock [New Rock] festival in Ljubljana. Their first album Nikogaršnje mesto (daleč od ljubezni) [No one’s City (Far from Love)] was released in 2001 and immediately followed by a live acoustic version, recorded at the Val 202 radio programme Izštekani [Unplugged]. Their second studio album Kakor človek [Like a Man] was produced by Aldo Ivančić and featured Meli from Psycho-Path as a guest vocalist.

In 2005, Dežurni krivci joined forces with poet Jožek Štucin and contributed two songs to the Rokerji pojejo pesnike [Poets Sung by Rockers] compilation released by Subkulturni azil Maribor. Their third full-length album Strup [Poison] was produced by Hannes Jaeckel and self-released in 2007. The band has played over 200 concerts in Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria, including festivals such as the Open Air Ottensheim. Their albums are distributed by Dallas Records. Dežurni krivci are additionally supported by God Bless This Mess and are a member of the Prekmurje Noise Conspiracy (P-N-C).
