Its repertoire consists of different genres of music, from Slovene folk music and the traditional ethnic music of the Balkan region to jazz, pop and disco compositions. This music is played exclusively on brass instruments and percussion; the ensemble does not need any electrical equipment for its performances and can therefore move around freely within the audience and make the spirit of the whole performance more lively and interactive. In 2008 the band released its first album Na mizo.
The Dej še'n litro Brass Band annually performs about 25 concerts all around Slovenia and Europe (Italy, Croatia, Ireland, France, so far). They recently won second prize at the celebrated International Festival of Ethnic Music in Guča (Dragačevo region), Serbia. They also made a guest appearance at the Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival in Ljubljana and at both the Jazz Cerkno Festival and Keltika International Festival (run by the same organiser, Jazz Cerkno Institute). In the past the band has also performed at Lent Festival in Maribor, at Klub Gromka in Ljubljana's Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Zone, at a charity concert for the town of Bohinjska Bistrica after floods in the Bohinj region left millions of Euro in damage, and at Gronau Jazzfestival in Germany.
