The [[Department of Asian Studies Library, University of Ljubljana|Library]] of the [[Department of Asian Studies, University of Ljubljana|Department of Asian Studies]] was established in [[established::1995]] and it houses over 12,000 items. The majority of the library's holdings is comprised of books on humanistic studies in the field of Japanology and Sinology, as well as study material on Korea, India, and Africa. Several magazines and journals are also available, a phono-laboratory is available for about 30 students. 

Since 1997 the library publishes the biannual periodical ''Asian and African Studies'' in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
