The [[Department of Philosophy Library, University of Ljubljana|Library]] of the [[Department of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana|Department of Philosophy]] was established in [[established::1919]], together with the [[University of Ljubljana]]. Since then, the Library has collected more than 27,000 units of library materials. The library of the Department of Philosophy holds several journals and other periodicals in the fields of Philosophy, Aesthetics, and other relevant disciplines. The library has a reading room with computers with access to the COBISS catalogue and other digital sources. 

The library holds Alexius Meinong's (1853&ndash;1920) private library, comprising more than 2,500 items. The unique collection of this professor of philosophy from Graz was purchased by [[Frane Veber]] in 1921, and represented a valuable asset of the Department of Philosophy.
