The [[Department of Comparative and General Linguistics Library, University of Ljubljana|library]] of the [[Department of Comparative and General Linguistics, University of Ljubljana|Department of Comparative and General Linguistics]] was founded in [[established::1919]]. Today it houses some 14,500 titles, as well as a special collection of Hungarian and Arabian works and the private collections of [[Bojan Čop]], [[Silvin Košak]], and Magnús Pétursson. The library is subscribed to 16 Slovene and foreign academic periodicals.
