The MISSS Institute is the national co-ordinator for youth information and consulting and a producer of youth projects. Its programmes are aimed at strengthening both the social and mental skills of young people and the communicative skills of teachers and parents. Its programmes include advisory activities, the ‘young to young’ phone line, voluntary work, computer workshops for street children and preventative programmes focusing on such topics as unemployment, drug abuse, AIDS and the handicapped. The Institute participates in various European regional programmes and often features creative and cultural activities in its projects.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture and developed
by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
