Filozofski vestnik (Acta philosophica) has been issued since 1989 by the Institute of Philosophy at the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC-SAZU). The journal examines a broad spectrum of issues related to contemporary philosophy, aesthetics, ethics, philosophy of language, history, science, theoretical psychoanalysis, and many more.

It is published three times per year with contributions in Slovenian and abstracts in English. A special issue appears annually, building on a particular topic on an international scope. It features articles in English, French, and German, with abstracts in Slovenian and English. The international edition is also available online.

The journal is included in the following databases: Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Current Contents / Arts & Humanities, Internationale Bibliographie der Zeitschriften, The Philosopher's Index, Répertoire bibliographique de philosophie, and Sociological Abstracts.
