Art photographer Janez Klenovšek has been engaged in Maribor community organisations such as Kombajn and Glas Podzemlja (Voice of Underground).

Occasionally, he works as a documentary photographer, offering services to various (cultural) organisations, festivals, venues and art collectives, for example, Maribor Theatre Festival, Crossings Festival, FAK Festival of Alternative Culture, projects by KIBLA Multimedia Centre, Maribor Art Gallery, Glej Theatre, Kino Udarnik, Lisabird's Art Collective, etc.

He has exhibited at GT22, Pekarna Cultural Centre (Hladilnica Gallery, Pekarna), Vetrinjski dvor, Media Nox Gallery, etc.
