Established in [[established::1958]] and located in a ministerial house in the old centre of Kostanjevica na Krki, [[Lamut's Art Salon]] (Lamutov likovni salon) is run by the [[Božidar Jakac Art Museum, Kostanjevica na Krki|Božidar Jakac Art Museum]]. The gallery is dedicated to Slovene graphic artist and painter [[Vladimir Lamut]] (1915&ndash;1962), who worked in Kostanjevica. The gallery presents solo and group exhibitions of contemporary Slovene authors. Its space is also suitable for other events, lectures, small concerts, etc.

==Programme==
Recently the gallery has presented solo exhibitions of [[Bogdan Borčić]], [[Danilo Jejčič]], [[Črtomir Frelih]], and [[Boštjan Pucelj]], a representative of the youngest generation of Slovene photographers, who exhibited the series ''Missing in Action'' [Pogrešani v akciji] where the main "role" was occupied by shopping carts dislocated from their intended environment. In 2010 [[Dragica Čadež]] (a sculptress widely represented in the collection of the [[Božidar Jakac Art Museum, Kostanjevica na Krki]]) featured the exhibition ''The Story of the Tree'' [Zgodba o drevesu]. The summer programme of 2010 was marked by the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the painter [[Zoran Didek]] in which Lamut's Art Salon presented a solo presentation of his drawings. 

Among group presentations Lamut's Art Salon gives the podium to a biennial exhibition of local artists: in winter 2009 the 5th edition of the biennial entitled ''Pogled 5: I Feel Kostanjevica na Krki'' presented art works of more than 20 artists including [[Uroš Abram]], [[Simon Kajtna]], [[Vladimir Leben]], [[Borut Peterlin]], [[Boštjan Pucelj]], and [[Uroš Weinberger]] to name just the youngest generation of participants.
