[[Mars Music]] is a company dealing in several music business-related activities, chief among them being music promotion and music publishing. Established in [[established::1996]], it is a partner institution to [[Dallas Records]], for whom it handles publishing rights and with whom it also works together in other regards. Mars Music actually grew out of the early concert promotion activities of Dallas Records. Mars Music also runs a record store.

==Concert promotion==

Running concert promotion under the brand Mars Concerts, the company primarily focuses on larger scale gigs. [[Križanke]] (its capacities circa 3,000 people) and the [[Sports Park Stožice|Stožice Hall]] (which can hold up to 12,500 visitors) are its preferred venues, with [[Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture]] and [[Cvetličarna]] being used for medium-sized events. Nevertheless, Mars Music occasionally also sets up some smaller, club-oriented gigs.

Some of the artists that have been invited by Mars are Roisin Murphy, Air, Morcheeba, Royksopp, Hugh Laurie & The Copper Bottom Band, [[Laibach]], Gibonni, Jinx, Bajaga, Severina, Morrisey, [[Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa]], Jovanotti and Patti Smith. For a time, Mars also organised its own festival, called the Mars Festival (2009&ndash;2013). Taking place in Ljubljana as well as in Zagreb, it hosted acts like Sigur Rós, Skunk Anansie, Moby, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Edo Maajka, Urban&4, [[Dan D]], [[Laibach]], [[Elvis Jackson]], [[LeeLooJamais]], and so on.  

==Booking services==

Mars also acts as a booking service, enlisting mostly authors coming from the ex-Yugoslav region. Among them have been [[Alenka Godec]], [[Tinkara Kovač]], [[Big Foot Mama]], [[Leeloojamais]], [[Plavi Orkestar]], Gibonni, Davor Radolfi, Severina, Jinx, Električni Orgazam, Let3, TBF and many others. 

==Publishing==

Mars Music is the biggest music publisher in Slovenia. It represents the Sony Music Publishing catalogue and holds regional publishing rights for the publishing houses Megatrax, Focus and DeWolfe.
