[[Rakičan Mansion Research and Education Centre]] was founded in [[established::2003]] and reorganised as a public institute in 2011. The ''Living Castles'' project that aims at the development of sustainable tourism for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, is being implemented as a part of the INTERREG V-A Slovenia&ndash;Croatia programme.

The Rakičan Mansion Centre is a partner in the Creative Europe project starting in 2019 under the title ''MUS.NET. MUSeum NETwork'', in cooperation with partners from Italy, Spain and Poland.
