The Slovene Ethnological Society's quarterly Bulletin is a high-quality compendium of expert texts, interesting for ethnologists as well as for other scientists and a wider audience, especially those working in tourism or in the academic fields of the humanities and the social sciences. The first issue of the bulletin was published in 1959, today its regular sections include "Ethnographic Film" and "Ethnology is Everywhere". The articles and texts are published in Slovenian with abstracts in English. The bulletin has a circulation of 400 copies and is also available online.

Articles in Slovene Ethnological Society Bulletin are indexed in the Anthropological Index Online (AIO RAI), Anthropological Literature, ULRICH's International Periodical Directory (I.P.D.), RILM Abstract of Music Literature, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), CAB Abstract, ProQuest, Scopus and Ebsco.
