Slovenian Animated Film Association

The Slovenian Animated Film Association (DSAF) was founded in 2011 with an aim of supporting the field of animated film in Slovenia through a joint effort of the numerous authors and makers of animated film who are its members. Its door is wide open for international participants who would like to collaborate in various activities that would ensure a better system and conditions for animated filmmaking in Slovenia and abroad in the long run.

DSAF actively participates in outlining the national film production policy that should take into consideration the development of animated film. A quite young platform encourages experience exchange and cooperation among authors and filmmakers, and organises events that bring the process of creation and production of animated films closer to audiences.

The association strives to relaunch the Slovene national animated film festival in order to present a variety of Slovene animated film production to general public as well as international experts.
