Booking Opportunities in Slovenia

From Culture.si

Planning a Project or Performance in Slovenia?

While Culture.si does not act as an intermediary or a booking agency, it nevertheless provides a wealth of information on potential collaborators and artistic venues.

Where to perform?

You can access the information about venues on the Venues subpage of the “Collected” section. They are neatly listed according to a type (clubs, galleries, concert halls, cultural centres etc.) and art field (music, dance, new media art etc.). In each venue profile you will find contact information for the cultural organisation that manages its programme.

With whom to collaborate or co-produce?

You can find potential collaborators by visiting the “Arts and Heritage” section at the top of the homepage. Each of the subsections (Literature, Film, Music, etc.) includes a “Collaborate” segment that features producers, distributors, publishing houses, recording studios and other institutions active in your chosen field.

Discover Slovenian artists

Although Culture.si features various Slovenian artists in its articles, the portal itself is not dedicated to presenting individual creators. However, we encourage you to use our data collections in order to find Slovenian artists for your next project. You can do this in several ways:

  • Find out about various festivals in your chosen field by choosing the “Collected” section at the top of the webpage and visiting the “Festivals” subpage. Most of the articles about festivals include a link to the festivals’ official webpages, where you might find Slovenian artists who were featured in the festivals’ past editions.
  • Visit the “Arts and Heritage” section at the top of the webpage. In the subsections you can get acquainted with various producers, distributors, event organisers or media in your chosen cultural field, and they can in turn provide information about the artists that they work with.
  • We also highly recommend visiting some of the websites that are listed in the “Web Resources” segment of each “Arts and Heritage” subsection (e.g. Slovenian film guide in the field of film, Music Slovenia in the field of music, etc.).
  • Open the “Worldwide” section at the top of the homepage. In the “Events Worldwide” subsection, you can find past, current or upcoming events by Slovenian artists in countries around the world. Moreover, you can also choose to view only the events in your chosen artistic field. This allows you to discover Slovenian artists who already have experience working internationally.
