Cultural cooperation
In 2022 Slovenia and Korea marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation. Cooperation spans traditional cultural exchanges, including food, crafts, and performances, as well as modern creative industries like film and tourism.
The foundational agreement governing cultural relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Korea is the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation, signed on 1995, and valid from 1997.
Specific agreements have been formed for exchanges between municipal entities, such as the port cities of Busan and Koper-Capodistria.
