Established in 2005 in Zagorje ob Savi, Mat kultra Multimedia Centre used to be part of the M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia. The so-called M-Učilnica lecture room, which can accommodate up to 100 people, is located in the RR Centre at Toplice in Zagorje. The space is well-equipped with both hardware and software, and permits video editing, recording, 2D animation, photographic developing, desktop publishing and website programming. Free Internet access is offered and various information-communication technology devices may be used for arts and culture projects. The Centre also organises intermedia workshops and other educational programmes aimed at promoting new media culture.
