The NKBM bank, the main creditor of Slovenia's biggest magazine publisher Delo Revije, sold the publisher's brands. In 2011 a total of 44 brands were auctioned off, including the brand of Stop Magazine, as well as a licence for the Viktor media award. In 2015 the Stop Magazine team started a new Vklop Magazine. Archival article

The first issue of STOP magazine was published in February 1968. Its primary content is TV and radio programming, also leisure time topics, popular music, television shows, theatre and the latest fashion and lifestyle trends.

Each year STOP magazine confers the following awards: STOP Magazine Award and Viktor Award.
