Avtonomija Magazine was established in 2009 as an official publication of the anarchist movement, published by Avtonomija publishing house, a project of the Federation for Anarchist Organizing (FAO). The magazine includes various topics concerning social and labour issues. It is created by individuals and collectives from the region and the rest of the world. Articles on anarchist movements in Slovenia and abroad, reports on labour strikes, syndicate movements and interviews are created by collective work and by individuals.
A recent edition of the magazine included an interview with the members of the Zasavje anarchist group OSA, a report on the self-organised workers at the company Port of Koper (Luka Koper), a report on imprisoned anarchists in Belgrade, and several articles concerning the autonomous student movement in Slovenia. The magazine has a section devoted to history reviews of the past labour and anarchist movements and an English section with abstracts of the articles.
The publishing house Avtonomija also publishes special editions, in April 2010 a publication on student life (O bedi študentskega življenja) was printed and devoted to student struggles in Slovenia. The magazine and its special editions are available at the Infoshop Metelkova.
