The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Canberra was opened in 1993 as an official representative body of the Slovene Government in Australia. The embassy provides consular assistance and promotes bilateral political, economic, and cultural relations.

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Australia is responsible for New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and ASEAN.
