Nindri Indri began in 2021 as a concert series and has since developed into a two-day festival, held annually at the MIKK club in Murska Sobota. The festival presents a wide range of alternative music, from rock and electronic to folk and genre-blending hybrids. While its core line-up features Slovenian bands, the stage has also hosted artists from Serbia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
Firmly rooted in the Prekmurje region, the festival proudly reflects its local identity. This is evident not only in the regional cuisine served at the venue but also in the use of the Prekmurje dialect in its communications. The festival’s name, Nindri Indri, comes from this dialect and means “nowhere else”.
