Povod Institute, Institute for culture and development of international relations in culture, established 2010 is based in Ptuj. They focuse on promoting sustainability, education, and social change through initiatives like the "Theatre of the Oppressed" and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since 2011 the Povod Institute is the elected head of the network of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Slovenia.
