Rakičan Mansion Research and Education Centre was founded in 2003 and reorganised as a public institute in 2011. The Living Castles project that aims at the development of sustainable tourism for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, is being implemented as a part of the INTERREG V-A Slovenia–Croatia programme.
The Rakičan Mansion Centre is a partner in the Creative Europe project starting in 2019 under the title MUS.NET. MUSeum NETwork, in cooperation with partners from Italy, Spain and Poland.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture and developed
by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
