Libertas is a cultural venue that was established in the former salt warehouse in the town of Koper. Since the municipality of Koper bought the warehouse in 2020, various cultural events have taken place in the building, most notably the contemporary arts festival IZIS. In 2025 the municipality began the renovation of the venue that will end in 2026. The renovated venue will consist of two multipurpose halls, a gallery, two outdoor venues and a cafe and will be dedicated to various branches of art such as theatre, music, literature, film, new media, architecture, and more.
