Development Agency Kozjansko is a public institution that was established in 2000 as the Local Acceleration Center Kozjansko and was renamed in 2005. The institution was founded by municipalities of Dobje in Šentjur in order to develop business initiatives, offer counselling and professional help to existent and future entrepreneurs and to implement development projects in the countryside. Several of the projects in which the agency is involved are connected to the field of culture and heritage, such as preservation and improvement of pilgrimage routes or promotion of archaeological sites.
