Musicological Annual [Muzikološki zbornik] is an academic publication for musicology, edited by the University of Ljubljana's Department of Musicology and published by the Ljubljana University Press, Faculty of Arts.
Backgorund
Musicological Annual was first published in 1965. Its first editor was Dragotin Cvetko, the founder of Slovene musicology. Later editors were Andrej Rijavec and Matjaž Barbo. Musicological Annual is the main, peer-reviewed Slovene musicological periodical, included in the international RILM base. It offers articles in every period, field or methodology of musicological scholarship, written in different languages with English abstracts and summaries.
