The New Music Forum is an annual festival founded in 2020 by the UHO society. It continues the tradition developed by the now-defunct Slowind Festival by presenting the classical music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, with a particular focus on the last two decades. The programme features a diverse range of contemporary classical music concerts, frequently accompanied by pre-concert talks. Additional festival events may include book presentations, workshops, and more. Most often, the programme is structured around a composer in focus (e.g. John Cage, Lojze Lebič, Vinko Globokar, Agata Zubel) or around a central theme, such as Music and Media, Folklore Melodies, or A Paradigm Shift.
