Slovene Philanthropy is an association established in 1992 and dedicated to the promotion of volunteering. It is the coordinator of the Slovenian Volunteering Organizations Network and organizes the annual National Volunteering Week. Another area of its work is contemporary migration, within which it has been organizing Migrant Film Festival every year. In addition, Slovene Philantropy promotes intergenerational cooperation and has established six intergenerational community centres. In cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana and other charitable organizations, it also established a pro bono clinic with counselling service for people without basic health insurance.
