Since the guide is addressing the international audience it exists only in English. All the films of the current year are displayed on the website while information on past productions (from 2021 to the present) is accessible in the webpage’s archive. The film production of the current year is divided into categories of “fiction & documentary” and “short”. Each of these categories is further divided depending on the production phase of the projects (“finished”, “upcoming” and “in progress”). It is also possible to browse the films by additional categories such as “animated”, “experimental” and “co-production”. Each film is presented by visual materials, a short synopsis, CV of the director, technical specifications and comprehensive information about the film crew, film producers, and funding sources. Frequently, there is also a short introduction of the film by its director and/or screenwriter.
Besides presenting the current Slovenian film production, the Slovenian Film Guide highlights recently restored film classics as well. Moreover, the guide also includes two other important links: the first one leads to the news section of the Slovenian Film Centre website while the second one directs users to a webpage dedicated to foreign filmmakers who wish to produce their films in Slovenia.
