Writer in the Park Residency was established in 2018 and is managed by Ljubljana UNESCO City of Literature in partnership with International Centre of Graphic Arts. It is located in Švicarija Art Centre in a historically significant former hotel right in the center of Ljubljana. The residency is a part of the UNESCO Cities of Literature network that strives to provide as many opportunities as possible for literary residency exchanges. Applicants from UNESCO Cities of Literature can apply for a one-month residency through a regular open call. The selected residents are entitled to a free accommodation and receive a lump-sum stipend.
