Launched in 1995 by the Video Section of the MKC Maribor Youth Culture Centre, the International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA) is the longest-running computer arts festival in Slovenia, which over the years has presented all of the most important intermedia artists from around the country. Guests at the first festival of 1995 were also international young artists and well-known guests such as Stelarc, Lisa Brandt, Jacek Szleszynski, Petra de Njis, and Paul Sermont.
