The desire of organizers is to prepare a pleasant meeting for Slovene singers and also for ones coming from the neighboring countries and abroad. Common thread of the 43rd meeting of 2012 were songs about flowers presented by more than 110 choirs led by well-known conductor [[Igor Švara]]. Program usually starts with a visiting choir’s concert on pre-night of the main event – concert of male, female and mixed choirs. Occurances of local or national politicians, ethnologists, ministers for Slovene abroad and cultural artists are also very common, such as awarding deserving members.
