Collection
The gallery collection contains all of Maleš's print works and a selection of his paintings and other materials. The paintings are presented in occasional exhibitions and accompanying catalogues. A selection of works is displayed from different periods of the artist's life, techniques and themes.
Programme
Besides the collection, Miha Maleš Gallery occasionally also features exhibitions that systematically present monographic researches of local artists who have not yet had solo exhibitions. Between 2007 and 2009, in cooperation with Pilon Gallery and Maribor Art Gallery, the gallery prepared a series of exhibitions exposing women artists who were creating between 1918 and 1945 in Slovenia. Painters and sculptors such as Henrika Šantel, the younger Avgusta Šantel, Helena Vurnik, Anica Sodnik Zupanec, Elda Piščanec, Mira Pregelj and Bara Remec were presented. The exhibition was also featured in the gallery of project partners.
