[[City Gallery, Ljubljana]] operates two gallery spaces at Bežigrad in northern Ljubljana - [[Bežigrajska galerija]] 1 opened in 1996 and the nearby Bežigrajska galerija 2 opened in 2002. The galleries have a specific exhibition programme and organise presentations of conceptual art, especially works on paper (visual poetry, comics, music notations, stage sets, puppetry sketches), works by younger contemporary artists, video works and intermedia arts.

Founded in 1976, the Bežigrajska galerija has been since 1996 a branch of the City Gallery, Ljubljana. As Bežigrajska galerija it operated at Dunajska 31, over the way of the Gospodarsko razstavišče, on the north-bound artery. In 2002 the Bežigrajsa galerija opened its second space at Vodovodna 2, so called Bežigrajska galerija 2.
