Within the Armenia Close Up Festival in spring 2010 the Small gallery featured the exhibition of Armenian photographer Ruben Mangasaryan, the editor-in-chief of the National Geographic Traveler Armenia- The photo series of ancient Armenian customs and celebrations that either stem from pagan times or are an expression of one of the oldest Christian traditions were presented. Although focused on Slovene authors, the space stages occasionally also the work of foreign photographers as in January 2010 when the exhibition of the key figure of Croatian photography Petar Dabac was featured. Organised in association with the Lang Gallery from Samobor (Croatia) and curated by Želimir Koščević the presentation showed several series of Dabac including Letters to Maja and You Have Whitewashed in Vain.
Since few years the Small Gallery cooperates with the Photon Gallery and its project Photonic Luminatic, New Slovenian Photography and Video presenting the latest trends in Slovenian photography and a video. This annual selection of artists from the younger and middle generations is part of the project the Month of Photography Festival. Recently the group exhibition featured also works of Tomo Brejc, Bojan Salaj, Borut Peterlin, Dejan Habicht, and many others.
