The Ivan Rakovec Institute of Palaeontology collects, conserves, studies and interprets the rich fossil heritage of Slovenia and makes its findings known by publishing its research, teaching students, taking part in scientific conferences, presenting educational fossil displays, presenting public lectures and developing palaeontological teaching resources.
