| − | The colony dedicated to Ive Šubic has been organised in | + | The [[Ive Šubic Colony, Škofja Loka|art colony]] dedicated to the painter [[Ive Šubic]] (1922–1989) has been organised at the [[Šubic House]] in Poljane since [[established::1997]]. Each year the [[Škofja Loka Artists Association|Škofja Loka Artists Association's]] members, who organise the colony, select a painting by one of the Šubic painters - [[Janez Šubic|Janez]] (1855–1890), [[Jurij Šubic|Jurij]] (1855–1890) or [[Ive Šubic]] - and invite artists to participate. Participating artists cover all media: painting, sculpture, photography, design, comics and writing. Traditionally the works created at the artistic colony have been subsequently exhibited at the [[Ivan Grohar Gallery, Škofja Loka|Ivan Grohar Gallery]] in Škofja Loka. |
