The Sanje Bookshop was opened in 2009 in the centre of Ljubljana, next to the building of the Radio Slovenia (currently closed, as the bookshop is moving to another location on Trubarjeva Street). The second branch of Sanje Bookshop is located in Kamnik, town situated 25 km north of Ljubljana.

Occupying approximately 100 sq. metres each, the bookshops hold a wide selection of literature published by Sanje Publishing House, audio records, literature for children, youth and older generations, tourist guides, selection of DVD films (by Demiurg Film Distribution), and books published by foreign publishers. The bookshops are also used as a venue for literature events, in the past authors like Miljenko Jergović, Tomaž Pengov, and others have been hosted.
