The creation of a new festival of experimental and avant-garde audio-visual practices was initiated in 2021 by the need to recognize and appreciate breakthrough AV creations in experimental environments. This festival is not starting from scratch but rather standing on the shoulders of numerous outstanding directors, videographers, and artists who have a history of experimentation in this field. The festival aims to showcase experiences and practices from abroad, including international platforms, festivals, and programs that are dedicated to experimental work. The focus is both on the past and the future, with a goal of discovering curators, programs, films, videos, installations, and performances that go beyond established and classical boundaries to explore new ways of expressing and utilizing the medium.
