In 2007 the competition changed its location to the Ljubljana Vič-Rudnik Music School and its name to Primož Ramovš Competition for Chamber Music Groups. The 4th Primož Ramovš Competition in 2012 was organised under the auspices of Radio-Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia) and the Society of Slovene Composers in the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory. Its artistic director has always been Tomaž Lorenz.
