Centre for Sonorous Arts 2012-2014
From 2012 to 2015 the Vodnik Homestead was managed by the Hanna's Atelier for Sonorous Arts, which established there a Centre for Sonorous Arts. The aim of the Centre was to construct the first fully dedicated sonorous theatre, featuring the inventions and advancements developed for this purpose throughout the years by the participants of Hanna’s Atelier for Sonorous Arts.
Divja misel Institute takeoff
In 2015 the Divja misel Institute, known round Slovenia for its Knjižnica pod krošnjami (Library under the Treetops), launches the new programme scheme, turning the Vodnik Homestead into the "house of reading, writing and story-telling".
In June, during the Chelsea Fringe Festival, a small herb garden was planted in front of the new home, to complement the Library under the Treetops reading sessions in the green oasis in the middle of the city. In September the homestead saw an "illustrated" opening with the exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Ciciban, Slovene cult magazine for children.
