Located in a nature resort in Southern Slovenia, about 30 km south of Ljubljana, ELIAS 2069 is an institute, a school, an art and research residency space, a stage, and much more. The renovated building, which used to be an old village school, now includes two large apartments, two art studios, a wood workshop and a sauna, while next to it are a playground for children, a permaculture garden, an outdoor resort in the making, a forest being turned into an imaginary labyrinth, and an outdoor stage. The venue offers art and research residencies, courses and workshops in Saphire® dreaming techniques, creative camps in nature for children and youth, and rentals of indoor and outdoor spaces for workshops and public events. Long-term stays at the institute can be arranged through the Workaway or WWOOF Independents communities.
