EPIC Centre is a multipurpose venue that was established in the former warehouse of Slovenian Railways in Nova Gorica in 2025 as a part of the project EPIC (European Platform for the Interpretation of the 20th Century), one of the most important projects of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia. An integral part of the venue is the City on the Border permanent exhibition which showcases personal stories and memories of the residents of the Nova Gorica/Gorizia region, thus exploring historical interpretations of the region and fostering dialogue on identity and common heritage. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the EPIC Centre offers space for various other cultural, educational or social events. It consists of the 250 m² EPIC Hall, EPIC Café and the 180 m² EPIC Gallery, located on the centre’s mezzanine.
