How it works
The Foundation has a Board of seven members which meets at least twice a year, usually in March and October (the deadlines are 1st March and 1st October). Publishers should also prepare a financial estimate of all costs associated with publication, including copyright, royalties, layout, paper, printing, binding. The application should be accompanied by the publisher’s latest catalogue. Updated information and an application form are available at the Slovene Writers’ Association's website.
Although the Trubar Foundation does not subsidise translation costs, publishers and translators may apply directly to the Ministry of Culture for translation grants. The Trubar Foundation is supported by the Ministry of Culture and other sources.
