The so-called "Night of Slovene Composers" – a marathon concert of many first performances of music scores by contemporary Slovene composers – is organised in collaboration with the Society of Slovene Composers. There are also a number of accompanying events, such as round table discussions, music workshops, exhibitions, and book presentations. The programme is usually held at Ljubljana's Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, the halls of the Slovene Philharmonic, the Knight's Hall at Križanke, and Piran City Gallery in Piran-Pirano.
Among many renowned musicians who have appeared at the festival in recent years Slovene Music Days have also hosted the Slavko Osterc Trio, SToP Slovene Percussion Project, composer Bojana Šaljić Podešva, RTV Slovenia Big Band, the Academic Choir Tone Tomšič, and Carmina Slovenica.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
